The tower at Carsington reservoir Today 29/08/2016 a lot of visitors at the visitor centre end due to the hot sun, Plenty of BBQs and picnic's. I would say an equal number of walkers ans cyclists.

Overflow Longton Park

The first offering of 2013 and is the overflow at Longton park after the rain that is lashing the country.

 

Took this image some years ago on 35mm film I think or a very early digital. came across  the print the other day and thought it looked quite good.  I can not even remember where it was taken.
